Here you can post what you need and everybody can use it instead
of making a thread for one paper and it gets lost so not everyone
sees it and loses out on getting it.

You can also request one of us that use Pc graphic programs to
make you something if you are struggling to find what you want.

Are you a secretary ? you seem to be doing an awful lot of sorting and filing of posts on here rotfl
( Mean that in a nice way :) )

I might be old fashioned but i like stuff to be a bit higgledy piggledy gives me something to look thru and has that kind of homely feeling I get when i come in here.

Cos basically if it is highlighted to say I haven't been in that post then i take a look whether it is for me or not ...nosey me ...lol
Prob with every Post having a label is you can often miss out on funstuff too that gets thrown in here and there and also if there is one thread for each sybject you still have to scroll thru reams to get to the point

but thats just me ..lol

There isnt another request post here (Not that I have noticed) so I thought I would add one.
This is meant to help people who could be new or dont want to click on absolutely every
link to see if they missed anything. I am kinda organised, I like things to be where I expect
them and cant be doing with endlessly searching for something as if it is too much of a trek,
the novelty wears off and I find another project

and LK is in training too don't forget , pretty soon she will learn how easy it is and maybe we aren't geniuses after all

as for the sorting ..go for it , but don't mind me if i drift

right i got paid today so gonna get some retail therapy .....................

Let me know if it's not possible.

Thanks

Just a quickie..... When someone is acting on a request, can someone
add that request is being done please as it could end up with lots
of one thing and none of another?

I have been replying in same topics as you, I got the feeling you had
a problem with me and this thread. Why should you stop doing
something, I cant see anything wrong in just asking (to save wasting
anyone elses time if they were making same papers) for a simple
"Request challenge taken" or just Done. I give up! You are just
being awkward, you commented on my choice of thread, acted on it and
now commenting on my asking for some aknowledgement that you
have taken the request.

O.K. O.K.

I think this thread will be a winner as I know it can be hard at times to rifle through everything to find a link from months ago that had a little bit of info you need.

I reckon you have a point about needing it to be marked done or whatever so what about the person who posted the comment editing it to say "completed" afterwards?  But also keeping the original post intact so as other people can see what it was that was completed?

for example:

Is there any chance of someone doing *blah blah* decoupage?
EDITED TO SAY COMPLETED

that type of thing?

Yes it is hard to understand what someone says on here and i feel you misunderstood me totally, I wasn't aware I was being 'awkward ' i figured i had as much right to an opinion as you , I never got personal , I made suggestions.
I do not believe arguing in an open forum is productive or grown up so I chose to opt out when i felt you had taken things the wrong way.

wherever you go in life there are clashes in personalities, unfortunately that is the way you have reacted to me.

if I have offended you then I apologise, I never meant to say anything hurtful or counterproductive to your ideas.

And as for people getting too many backing papers , surely if there is more than one person capable of doing something it isn't a contest but gives the person a choice , everyone has different tastes and ideas and i feel the more the merrier. e g If I asked for wallpaper samples i would not want to see them all done to one style
If someone decided they did not like what i had made I  would not take it personally but I would be happy in the knowledge I did my part.

I hope we can move on from this as i have foudnthis to be a very freindly forum and i would hate for this to change.

I am sorry to as it is unpleasent having clashes. I think we both
missunderstood each other. We all have different opinions and are
welcome but on the odd occasion, we will not quite know what the
other is on about. I generally try to join in and help when I can or
point in the direction of the right guy/gal for the job. I dont believe
in forum rantings but if I have a question to ask, I will ask it. I dont
think this as a competition but like I said, if lots of people decide to
make use of this thread, if everyone does the same request, there
are going to be lots of others without their requests being touched
as we do have our lives to lead and prob dont have the time to
do everyones request, thats why I asked for other people to help.
I hope we can agree to disagree and get on with it.

That is brilliant! If nobody takes it, I might try a tink bg tomorrow.
Are they the images required?

life really is too short for all of this - you're all trying really hard to be helpful to those of us without the software or gumption (myself!) to do these for ourselves, but don't knock yourselves out - if you're busy then we'll have to do something else, it really won't be the end of the world for any of us I'm sure.

in the meantime thank you to all of you who are creating these wonderful papers & decoup for us
